Dear employees, Summer has arrived and with it, the well-known nuisance - the mosquitoes.
We are all required to take personal responsibility and need to immediately dry any stagnant water sources -which are the breeding ground for mosquitoes. This is a danger to all of us!
The Arava council has increases pest control and spraying, but the most significant prevention is the immediate drying of stagnant bodies of water, where mosquito lay their larvae. It is our duty to act in every way in order to dry stagnant water sources in pits, especially in the areas of date plantations.
The radius of activity of the mosquito is 100 meters from the center of incubation, so you must check within this range.
To succeed in our fight against mosquitoes - we need your help!
so what can you do to help?
1. Drains standing water in palm trees.
2. Drains standing water in the yards of houses - planter trays, buckets, barrels, vases, air conditioner water containers and excess irrigation.
3. Make sure that there is no standing water in public spaces such as garden yards, tire piles, lawn edges and more...
4. Coverand seal well any source of water that cannot be drained.
5. Add fish to the ornamental ponds that will eat the larvae.
6. Use mosquito repellents.
7. Use nets for windows.
